Cantor Magdy Bekheet
Cantor Magdy Bekheet graduated from the Saint Didymus Institute for Cantors in Cairo, Egypt in 1990 and was immediately called upon to teach at the Institute.
He developed the course and curriculum for Doxologies and Deacon Responses at the Institute and taught the course to students of all years. From 1996 until 2021, Cantor Magdy took on the responsibility of Year 1 Curricula and Students. From 2021 until the present, Cantor Magdy has been responsible for the Year 3 Curricula and Students.
Cantor Magdy has served as the Cantor of several churches across Cairo; he has served as Cantor of St Mary Coptic Orthodox Church of Zamalek since the year 2000.
In 2024, Cantor Magdy joined the Asaph Hymns Institute, leading the development of curricula and as the primary instructor of the Liturgy Hymns course.
Cantor Elia Boules
Cantor Elia Boules graduated from the Saint Didymus Institute for Cantors in Cairo, Egypt in 2005.
From 2000-2003, Cantor Elia was appointed as Cantor of Saint George Church in Al Manial. From 2003-2022, Cantor Elia was appointed as Cantor of Saint Mark Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Azbakeya, Cairo, Egypt.
Cantor Elia currently serves as the Cantor and teacher of St Shenouda and St Karas Coptic Orthodox Church in Uxbridge, MA.
In 2024, Cantor Elia joined the Asaph Hymns Institute as the primary instructor of the Psalmody course.
Cantor Bola Mounir
Cantor Bola Mounir graduated from the Saint Didymus Institute for Cantors in Cairo, Egypt in 2007.
Cantor Bola serves as the Cantor and teacher of the Coptic Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Anthony in Maadi, Cairo, Egypt.
In 2024, Cantor Bola joined the Asaph Hymns Institute as the primary instructor of the Deacon Responses course, and the Psalmody Hymns course.
Cantor Abanoub Nasfy
Cantor Abanoub Nasfy graduated from the Saint Didymus Institute for Cantors in Cairo, Egypt in 2017.
He served as the Cantor for several churches in Alexandria and teacher in the Aripsalin Institute for Cantors in Alexandria from 2018 to 2022.
Cantor Abanoub currently serves as the Cantor and teacher of St Mary and St Demiana Coptic Orthodox Church in Fall River, MA.
In 2024, Cantor Abanoub joined the Asaph Hymns Institute as the primary instructor for the Doxologies course.
